Updates on NSSF amendments bill 2021.

This afternoon we had successfull meeting with his excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at state house Entebbe with all our members of Parliament representing workers , Hon Bakabulindi Charles, Hon.Agnes Kunuhira, Hon. Margaret Rwabusheija, Hon. Rwakajara Katambuka & Hon. Byakatonda NOTU was represented by Usherwilson Owere and Hon. Christopher Werikhe, COFTU was represented by Brother Oketch John Osieli and Bro. Mbabazi government side Rt Hon.Prime Minister Nabanja Government chief whip Thomas Tayebwa ,Minister of Finance Hon. Kasheija, Minister of Gender Labour and social Development Hon.Amongi,the attorney General ,nssf managing Director Richard Byarugaba attended the meeting. We managed to resolve the outstanding issue of supervision of NSSF ,we managed to convince the President and agreed that NSSF fund will now be under Ministry of Gender Labour and social Development MGLSD .
