The Lugogo based NUCPAAW has rolled out a country wide sensitization campaign for all associations affiliated to the UNION, this is in a bid to implement the government call for re organizing the Creative Industry, the exercise started in Kampala, then the northern subregion. The General Secretary of NUCPAAW has urged all members to embrace the Union as the only hope for advocacy and addressing issues that have for long affected the industry, in her message throughout the campaign she has noted the need to adhere to the existing copyright law and called upon all stakeholders to ensure all their members embrace the law before general enforcement.
In her speech , the General Secretary ,Ms Anita Sseruwagi highlighted the need to educated the creative industry on the importance of personal financial management skills in the creative industry , that artists wont have to look like beggars if they are equipped with the necessary skills to manage their finances.

Ms Anita Sseruwagi after a two days workshop with artists from the northern Uganda -Lango Subregion under their umbrella body of the Northern Uganda Performing Artists Union, a branch of NUCPAAW from 29th to 30th September 2021 at Silent Guest House , Lira District.

Officials from NUCPAAW, UPRS and Ministry of Trade facilitated the workshop.
